    Job Description
    Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection has an opening for a Quality Technician in the Quality Department.

    Mettler Toledo's Product Inspection Group is made up of CI-Vision, Hi-Speed and Safeline. Together, we are the world’s leading supplier of in-line checkweighers, metal detectors, machine vision systems and x-ray inspection systems. We are currently hiring a Quality Technician to maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording quality results.

    Do You Have?
    • Good overall understanding of mechanical and electrical manufacturing methods and results (machining, welding, forming, assembly and electrical wiring)
    • Previous experience working in a quality position within a manufacturing environment
    As a Plus, Do You Also Have?
    • Experience with wiring schematics
    • Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production and customer needs
    Can You Picture Yourself?
    • Approving in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
    • Approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
    • Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into the quality database
    • Keeping measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs and maintaining calibration
