    Mettler-Toledo Hi-Speed has an opening for a Mechanical Assembler in the Production Department.

    Mettler Toledo's Product Inspection Group is made up of CI-Vision, Hi-Speed and Safeline. Together, we are the world’s leading supplier of in-line checkweighers, metal detectors, machine vision systems and x-ray inspection systems. We are currently hiring a Mechanical Assembler to completely assemble custom built automatic weighing equipment and package handling systems from assembly prints or specifications sheets, using standard hand tools

    Do You Have?
    • Experience with assembly of mechanical subassemblies
    • Experience with assembly, testing and documentation of machines
     
    As a Plus, Do You Also Have?
    • A basic electrical background, ability to read blueprints or previous machine shop experience
    • Good mechanical and organization skills
     
    Can You Picture Yourself?
    • Acquiring all of the necessary parts from stock locations and other departments, final assembly, testing and repair as required, and completion of all necessary documentation for mechanical subassemblies required for inventory and spare parts kits
    • Assembly and maintenance of mechanical test equipment
    • Interconnection and termination of controls to machines
    • Assisting in the final documentation of the assembly
