Full health services are available in the Central Pasco communities. Residents have easy access to large medical complexes within 20 minutes. Land O’ Lakes houses the new Pasco County Public Health Department located on US Highway 41. Also in Land O’ Lakes is a Senior Center, and the Baldomero Lopez State Veterans Nursing Home, while Lutz houses the Assisted Living Facility, Merrill Gardens. As well Walk-In Clinics are available in the area. Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point offers award-winning medical services to Central Pasco. This 290-bed accredited hospital has been named among the 100 Top US Hospital seven times by Solucient. The Heart Institute at Regional Medical Center is one of the largest centers for open heart surgery in Florida, and is the largest center on the West Coast. It ranked #27 in the nation for Heart care and Heart Surgery by U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Hospitals”, 2002. New technology, a commitment to growth and impressive survival rates all contribute to their five-star rating of excellence from HealthGrades.com. The hospital received this rating for surgical outcomes in coronary bypass surgery and interventional procedures.

Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel Drawing on more than 100 years of leadership from the Florida Hospital network, Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel was designed from the ground up with a focus on every detail to maximize patient care, healing and wellness.
